Implementing the expenses module into Boehringer's Siebel CRM application resulted in the detail being entered twice, once by the sales representative and then again by the accounts department. They needed a way to avoid this double data entry to improve efficiency and accuracy, and result in prompter payment and faster feedback for the sales representative.
Boehringer Ingleheim asked Fusion Integration to build an interface between their CRM and Financial systems to supply the relevant data to the Financial system for payment, and receive payment details for full reporting within Siebel CRM.
The new system for processing claims is easier, faster and more accurate for both the representatives and the financial team, and gives them the opportunity for greatly enhanced management information reporting.
